Community Guidelines
Community guidelines
Clear rules to keep the knowledge base trustworthy. They are not restrictive for control's sake: they exist to protect community knowledge from abuse.
What to do
- Cite official sources whenever possible (BI, LTO, PSA, embassies).
- Note the date and the office or city where you experienced the process.
- Be respectful and constructive with other contributors.
- Distinguish between verified information and personal experience.
- Flag changes (fees, requirements, offices) in the edit summary.
What not to do
- Self-promotion or lead capture inside the guides.
- Deleting useful content without justification and without proposing an alternative.
- Copying copyrighted content without attribution.
- Vandalism, spam or misleading links.
- Deliberately false information about official processes.
Contributor trust levels
The more you build, the more trust you earn. The system is transparent, not opaque.
